Ok, I watched the second episode of Sense and Sensibility last night... and i HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Marianne with a vengenance!
She is completely self-indulgent, selfish, has her head soooo far up her behind it's not real and is just so gratingly immature and self-satisfied and ARGH!!!! I HATE her!
Why!? Oh WHY!? What does Colonel Brandon see in her!? I have never understood it and i absolutely NEVER will!!!
Willoughny is a little s*** but Marianne is a little twit who deserves to get her heart broken! I was actually cheering when Willoughby showed his true colours!
Elinor on the other hand, I am really liking.
Er, I think the producers tried to do a 'Colin Firth Mr. Darcy' with the new Mr. Ferrars by having the man, manfully chopping wood, in the rain, in his white flowing shirt and tight breeches and angsting...er...nope, not even in the same galaxy of hotness!!!
Anyway. the second episode ended on a climatic moment and next sunday sees the last episode...i wonder if the bbc has anymore of these corset-busters up her sleeve...a repeat would be good....hmm...like Pride and Prejudice or Great Expectations...or Wuthering Heights! Ahhhh!!! I need BBC period dramas NOW!!!
