not exactly the best ending to a Girl's Night Out
One of my friends here at the law school just found out that one of her good friends from home was murdered by his father. The father apparently hit his son 3 times with a tire iron and asked his daughter's fiance to run over the guy with a car. She found all this out from her brother as we were in a cab going home from downtown. Even the cab driver was at a loss for words.
If anything, this only confirms why I am doing what I am doing. If it were up to me, I would put the needle in that man's arm myself. But the best that I can do is remind myself that in 3 years, I will be putting bastards like that behind bars where they will make very good friends with a large man named Bubba.
