Hello all,
well as i get ready to start my summer completely and am eagarly anticipating my travels i find myself coming back to my good friend and hubby "pianoman's" idea of having one entry that is a montage, perhaps with some commentary, of this years journal excerpts.
here we go, we're off to the races...
2nd June 2005:9:56am: wow!!
well I'm here... wow! do i miss you all tremendously... annoyances of annoyances i have to go out today and get a job. I am applying at a couple local newspapers, a law office in detroit, and at the equestrian centre...officially signed up for orientation (27th of july) and have a U of M e-mail: kfbm@umich.edu. feel free to use it i'll check it quite often....

10:15pm: i have been 18 for over 24 hours now. i feel 18. i have registered to vote & deposited my first paycheck. yay!

Aug 29th: upstairs writing to you - all of you whom i miss desperately - its not that i want singers back (it was the best time ever - snr. year rocked- but it is justthat a memory. a great one but non ethe less a memory, an experience that enhances where i am today but that if one never allows to bethe past one can never grow) its just that i miss you as ppl, our bond, our comradery... it was so great i question the possibilty to have something like that again. it could never be the same but something different could still be awfuly special...

2nd september: after: i really like tequilla - yummy... last night.... yeah well.... hmmmm, like four parties i think - kinda just wandering around. i foundout you can have open beer underage on private property - just don't take it on the street... jager, tequilla, beer (not much though). i actually did really well though- i didn't drink till i was trashed i did it in moderation and with restraint....but i did feel really happy and a little numb ::bashfuls::

27th Oct: 6:49pm: the daily printed my editorial - wehee!!!
i had dinner with carl cohen my professor... and with jen gratz. jen gratz is the same gratz of gratz v. bolllinger...while we drank wine and relaxed before dinner in his mansion of a house we discussed theory, and ancestry, and things like precedent, and cultural differences, and strategy and ooooo- fun stuff. it was soo cool...who got A's on both her poli sci term paper and midterm and has two thumbs?... who raped her german midterm?... THIS GIRL!!
Nove 12th: ok so during the game definately sat next to this cute guy who had graduated from Georgetown a couple years ago and who was visting his law school friend. name: yeah you guessed it... andrew. ha, lol

2:01pm: GOD DO I LOVE COLLEGE!!
So this whole college thing is ... AWESOME!!!
Right now, i am in cool classes (for the most part that is), am being politically active (naturally), am volunteering (teaching english as a 2nd language, peace corp .... here i come), am working (whenever i want - my boss is ... THE COOLEST!), have a great schedule (yes, yes, its the shit!), and am singing ( I, a non music school student, actually got voice lessons through the music school - and with and actual professor, that is - how cool is that!?).
31st of Jan: I def. could have been one of the most patriotic people in america now is considering surrendering american citizenship.
