Okay, so Solo and Ensemble was really good. I'm glad I got to do my last one with a smile on my face.
I walked away with 3 golds. The flug solo could have been much better, but it was a group II so I got graded easier. My trumpet solo was really late (like 4 30) but worth the wait. The judge told Eddie that he should take me out to dinner because "I was such a fine trumpet player"... that might be stretching it a bit, but I was happy with it and I did go to Broadway with Eddie (not as a date though :P ) The trio was amazing. I spazed for a little bit because we had no score and therefore had to give the judge the piano part and do it a capella. We did it crazy fast (and kept the tempo amazingly) and when we were done we got a standing ovation from the judge. It made my day. It made me so happy that even that stupid basketball game I had to play at couldn't ruin it completely.
