YAY!!! No more McDicks!!!!
So I haven't updated in a little over a month. Last time I did, I was frustrated on what to do with McDonalds. Well I put my 2 weeks in on Friday the 13th (my lucky day lol) because I got offered a full time job. Basically a week or maybe more before the 13th, I finally broke. I actually had a nervous breakdown at McDs (which thankfully I was in the office away from everyone). I told them that I could no longer be a manager. That even though I tried for quite some time, I just couldn't do it anymore, to make me crew. Well, the supervisor and my store manager got all pissed off because they said I just threw it at them, that they had no idea that I was going to do this. I threw back at them that I had tried to tell my store manager for almost a month that I was having problems, but with her being unreachable, I turned to the assistant. Which the assistant told me to hang in there, that she would help me and I would get through it. So they tried to throw a guilt trip on me and it didn't work. On top of that, the store manager threw some accusations at me that weren't true. Basically saying that I didn't do shit and that I took my breaks before everyone else. I threw it right back at her to go into her computer and LOOK at the breaks and see when I took them (it was a big deal that managers get their crew out on break before themselves). She then asked me if all of them were bullshitting her and I said yes they were. I even had the proof. So anyway, after that nasty fight, they knocked me down to crew and told me that I was getting a paycut down to 6.50/hr. I said fine because even though, with the raises I had received, I should have gotten at least 6.70/hr, I had Albertsons to fall back on. Well, at that point I realised I wasn't going to get the hours at McDonalds anymore, I had to find a better paying job. So my roommate told me the boutique she is working at is hiring for a part-time shift, that I should apply. So I did and I got the shift no problem. The job pays 7.50/hr plus 10% commission on everything I make. With that I decided to quit Albertsons. I put my two weeks in there. Well, when I told McDonalds I couldn't work Saturdays and Sundays, and they basically said they couldn't promise me even 3 shifts 6 hours each day, I finally said screw it. I went to Albertsons, asked to pull the 2 weeks notice, and filed my 2 weeks at McDonalds on Friday the 13th. Albertsons basically offered me a supervisor position for the checkers. I was happy cause that would be a full time job AND a pay raise. Well, the head of the boutique called me also on that day and asked me if I wanted a full time position there. Some girl put her two weeks in and they needed to cover a shift. Now I was at a different rock and hard place. I had to decide which position to take. So I checked at Albertsons to see how much the position paid. They didn't have an answer for me. I figured that there was no way that it was over a $1 raise, so I apologized and declined the Albertsons position and took the offer at the Boutique. Now I get to sit on my butt full time and read or do whatever to occupy my time and sell things when customers come in :) Tuesday was my first day and I basically almost read a whole book lol. It was really slow. But, my feet don't hurt after a long day and work and that makes me happy. Well, more updates later...its bedtime for now.
