Tick Tock Tick Tock Toxic
Where are we going? Is there a destination? Or are we just randomly running in circles? Tainted views of morality and ethics can only go but so far. Toxic views against your brothers and sisters will never be resolved until you say you're sorry. Traveling through a metropolis and seeing all the people walking and driving around with no destination makes you wonder, "Where am I going? Is this the right way?". Destiny is calling and you left your phone off, opportunity is knocking and you're too afraid to open the door. You're going nowhere if you can't see where you are now. Broken hearts and shattered dreams litter the ground on which you walk. Those who gave up on their dream stand on the side with their thumbs extended, hoping to hitch a ride back to nowhere land. Do you really want to end up like that? Don't be afraid to take a chance. If you are too afraid to do something, then what will you ever do?
Time is a precious thing. You never know when your clock will run out, so make the best of what you have. Be thankful for the friends you have. Be thankful for the family you have been blessed with. Even if you can't stand them, they have helped shape you, "made" you what you have become. Be thankful for what you have. Don't mourn over what you haven't. Sing a song for the dead, and say a prayer for the living.
If you love something, truly love it, then never let it go without a fight. Not just a person, but also a belief, a place, a thing, whatever it may be. Hold onto it!
So go out into the world and sing a new song. Be thankful for the time you have left with your family and friends. Be thankful for the time you have had with those passed on. Now open your eyes, and go out.
