I had a lovely birthday party last night
We managed to get 16 people into this tiny little apartment in semi-comfort. I think we can easily entertain groups of 12 from now on. I really do love playing hostess too. Fussing over everybody to make sure their drinks are filled, and chatting with everyone makes me very happy. Just what the doctor ordered in the dreary, dark days of winter.
Eric and I are considering hosting something at least once a month. It gives us added incentive to keep the apartment in shape, as well as giving us something to do that doesn't involve the Internet or TV. Hopefully if we get the ball rolling on this stuff now, come summer we'll have invitations coming out our ears for fun things to do. Hopefully.
