I HAD A VERY GOOD DAY

The first part was spent agonizing over a simple four-frame storyboard, because I was under the impression I needed to draw super-realistically in order for it to be acceptable. I spent literally five hours making four drawings, and then when the boss came in, she said "this looks great! except he looks like three different guys."
I was like HAHA THAT'S BECAUSE IT ISN'T MY STYLE AT ALL 8V except I didn't say that, and then when she pointed out the one she liked best, it was the one where I had basically said 'fuck it I need to finish this sometime today' and it looked the most like my own work.
lllololollolololol
The good news is, I'm doing a lot better in that category than I thought I would be, and I still have hope for being hired. ...eventually.

Otherwise, I went to exchange some pants I had bought at JCPenney, and though I couldn't find the same color (in a juniors' size 1, because the 3 was too big, oh god I'm shrinking), I got some nice gray ones that were better anyway.
My uncle sent me a Barnes and Noble giftcard for my birthday, so I then took a walk to Union Square, where I went to the B&N and spent about 45 minutes looking for a particular digital painting book, finding it, almost going to purchase it, and then realizing I would rather have a couple Discworld novels instead.
I don't regret it in the slightest, pretty much any art instruction can be found online anyway. It was also nice to spend time focusing on something that wasn't work-related in any way, even if I haven't started reading them yet. I know I'll like them because they're Discworld and I've liked all the other ones I've read.

Also kitty. Okay bye
