I had a ton of fun at Animazement, cosplaying as Sho Minamimoto from TWEWY (will post photos on facebook, once facebook stops being an arse, until then check out my
DA account).
Every now and then, I realize how goddamn lonely I am out here all by myself with only Mel/
dreamingoftokyo for company (sorry, Mel for badgering you to spend time with me so much, I know I can be an attention whore).
Then I go to an anime convention where you can randomly strike up a conversation with just about anyone as if you've been friends for bloody well ages, and I bond practically instantly with a huge group that don't even know one another at all, of all ages and backgrounds...
Hell, there was even a twelve year-old boy cosplayer hanging with us who fit into the group of fifteen through twenty-four year-olds and only made 'ew' faces when yaoi jokes were made.
And even before I found them, I was chatting with the vendors about how uncomfortable it would be to be covered in blood--especially once it dried.
I managed (for once) to nab usernames and stuff to stay in contact, but... it just no the same.
I really wish there was a place that was like a convention all the time. I would live there.
emo post is emo.
