Warped Tour was all up in my face like this!
Ok first, Watched Billy Talent, they were freaking awsome, the lead singer is nuts. that was the first band I saw and the one that set the mood for the rest of the day. what do you mean you might be askin? well I was moshing ans some jackasses hit me in an odd way, one guy slammed me into the guy behind me and My ankle did a 90 degree angle, so yeah that hurt like a bitch....
Next bam! I walked around for a bit. I walked around and bought some stuff: Coheed and Cambria comic (Its a really awsome comic, but Mine got messed up, well its all bent up and the cover is ruined, *sigh* I'll get another one though.), A Coheed and Cambria shirt (I am so pissed, some one stole it from me. I was helping shannon onto my shoulders so she could see taking Back Sunday and some guy ran up and snatched it off my shoulders and out of my hand...I am so mad...I really liked that shirt, *sniff sniff*), THURSDAYs War all of the Time cd for like $10 and I got a single with a dvd free, Motion City Soundtrack shirt (this is the coolest MCS shirt there is, its awsome, more about the shirt later), and damit so much water...*shakes fist* it was $3 a bottle...grrrr...
Next I saw some rappers, they were pretty cool, I had mad respect for them cause they had the guts to come on he warp tour and do what they do, but they were good, it wasn't like crappy rap music like they play on TV.
During Billy Talent I saw Joe and Shannon so I was hanging with them for awhile, then I went off on my own for awhile. I played some video games for awhile. Saw Kim and Chadd and talked for a few minutes and such. Hooked back up with shannon by bumping into her, so we hung out. we went over and watched Sugarcult Finish there set and then walked over to see Taking Back Sunday. Holly shit they were fucking awsome live!!! I was like right up in front, there was like 2 people in front of me. I don't think I'll be able to speak tomorrow, I sang ever last word and screamed some ass well.. the only bad thing was my ankle was killing me and I was being smashed into people in front of me and next to me. Finally I couldn't take it anymore and I had to crows surf my way out, that was fun.
Next, Flogging Molly. Didn't watch the whole set cause I couldn't find somewhere to sit and I couldn't stand to....stand. But heard about 3 songs, they were awsome live as well.
Then I found somewhere to sit and read my Coheed and Cambria comic, that was fun.
Then I ran into DJ and Megan, they were looking for walker, so I went with them. Me and Megan sat down and watched Story of the Year play, they were good. DJ was taking forever and so Megan went to find him, finally they came back, no sign of Walker so eh.
I met Cades girlfriend, didn't really talk to her, I said hello and introduced myself and went on my merry way. then one of the coolest things I got to do. I got Motion City Soundtrack to autograph my shirt. that was sweet. So then I had nothing to do again so hopped/limped/walked around finding people I knew.
then it was time again for music, went and watched Motion City Soundtrack play, I have to say they had the bes set. It was on the smallest stage and still had a big crowd. I was up front, but my ankle was starting to hurt again so I went and sat down and watched the rest of the set.
Funny story about that. When i went into the Park the MCS tent was near the front and was bright hot pink. So later when I went to look for it I got turned artound so many times..I how can you miss a Hot Pink tent amoung all the black and white tents?? hehe, oh well i did find it.
The ankle was jsut killing me. Its sprained or broken, I don't know yet, but yeah...So I called home and had mom come and get me. So while I was waiting by the gate, I listened to the Casualties play, not really my fav thing in the world, but eh. the thing that sucks is...I MISSED COHEED AND CAMBRIA PLAY!!! They were on at 7:50, and well I just couldn't walk anymore without pain..so I went home. I'll have to wait for them o come back to Jax.
