Dutchy! Am I predictable or what?
But seriously, for a person who has to wear a skirt, for one reason or another, I've put together a truly awesome Dutchy costume for tomorrow. Yes, deesarrachi, there shall be pics.
And Rivka (dat's me sister) makes a truly awesome Spot.
And I have to stop using the word "awesome", as Chezi's picked it up (meaning, I use it A LOT). That, and starting sentences with "and".

Anyroad, here is the lowdown on THE RECORDING STUDIO.

I hadn't realised, but we were the first to record. Ever. The guys recently moved the studio from Tel Aviv into the industrial area of Ra'anana. So we were the first project. They were amazed that there were no technical glitches. It wasn't my first time working with Ralph and Avi, so I was pretty cool. Aaron, on the other hand, had no idea we were recording in Hebrew, so he was a tad shocked. He got over it. He's done these things before.
Since we were working with Avi, we couldn't have a session without Avi's Happy Corner, or, in other words, Avi's-stash-of-every-single-blooper-that-he-plays-whenever-there's-a-dull-moment. Yeah. There was only one really "good" one, of me being a little hoarse, so he played it. Mercilessly.
The creator of this disk met me only that day, and so she called me "Aviga'il" by mistake. And Avi heard. And so I was "Aviga'il" for the remainder of the day (I left to go catch a taxi home, and it never came. I went back upstairs: "Aviga'il's back!").
All-in-all, it was terrific. I don't know, I really enjoy recording. Sure, it's a bit nerve-wracking, and it's kind of strange when they can hear any tiny sound you make while you don't hear anything from "their side", but it's just fun. Especially when the people you're working with really like what they're doing. Hopefully I shall have some sound clips up soon. That and the clips from music class.
Oh, and Avi's a "Les Miz" nut. Woot! Ralph said something like "Who do you think I am?" and we said "24601..."

newsies, recording, purim
