Clara! You'll do WONDERFULLY!!! Not to go all youth-groupy on you, but God never gives you more than you can handle. Seriously. I was worried about the same stuff my first year, and it all worked out.

Here's why:
Chores, such as laundry, washing dishes, etc. don't come up as often as you thinl they would. For example, it will be a week or so before you have to do any laundry, and by that time you can check out the machines, ask for help, all that stuff. If you eat in the caf and use paper plates and stuff you don't have to do dishes. And getting up is easy because all you have to do is set an alarm and put it somewhere where you have to get up to turn it off.

I thought the guy thing would be totally overwhelming as well, but it's really pretty easy to get used to. They'll be there and you'll be there and you can pretty much talk to them like you would any other person. You'll do AWESOMELY, I just know it because you're fun and amazing to hang out with, so I'm sure you'll make guy friends easily.

As far as finding a boyfriend goes, pretty much no pressure there. I mean, there are so many people at college that no one's expecting you to do anything really. But I know that the boys will be all over you, so don't go having pre-marital sex because it's just not the best idea. Well, in my opinion. What do I know.

Another thing, you're INCREDIBLY smart, so don't worry about failing classes. It comes a little at a time, then a whole bunch of stuff once you've eased into it. You can handle it!!! Mercy has prepared you!!!

Sadly I have no advice for the Happy Potter club. Sorry.

Money is a little trouble-maker, but that's what parents are for the first year! I know that makes me sound like a mooch, but the first year is definitely a test run, so you can fingure out what you'll need to earn next summer in order to support yourself sophomore year.

The walking and stuff IS a lot (you'll sleep well those first few weeks), but you're going to be a buff woman!!! Don't worry!

Sorry if none of this advice is wanted, but I'd just like to help reassure you!!! You'll be THE BEST!!! I believe in you.

Love you!!!! Best of luck!
God bless!
Alicia
