the only thing you cant fix is a broken promise

I KNEW I would regret going to the Salem flea market, because of the people bringing the dying turtles to my store and not wanting to take care of them properly. I went a few weeks ago and its terrible.
1) theyre illegal to sell under four inches because of salmenella
2) they ARE dying in the conditions theyre kept in..
They need water atleast twice as deep as they are wide and a place to be completely dry out of the water to bask under UV rays..
they dont get any of that.. about 1/4 inch of water and a pebble..
one asian lady had atleast 10 of them in the small critter keeper
its disgusting.
i tried telling them that theyre killing the turtles and what they need to do.. but they didnt care..
i went to the owner of the flea market and i said so those turtles.. "YEAH? the ones that die the day after you bring the home? theyre right over there"
yeah i made him feel like shit about it as he was walking away hahaha

ANYWAY does someone want to help me go there and take pictures and do something about it. ive been meaning to ask my dad.. i know theyve gotten in trouble before for it..Im going to bring some caresheets and atleast the people buying them will know that if they keep them how they are.. theyre just going to ROT, litterly.
Greed is so terrible, especially when it comes to animals.

and on my way to salvation army, there was a truck emitting black smog.. blackblackblack it was gross.. i called my dad and apparently you can call 911 if you follow the truck they will dispatch someone from the closest station to pull them over because its illegal. totally doing it next time.

So who wants to help save little turtles lives?

I'm such a hippy
