I've had American Stars 'N Bars on repeat for about a week. Oh Neil, you always know how to tickle my aural fancy.
He's saying that life is bullshit, and it is...
I find myself more and more interested in linguistics. I think I'm at a point in my life/education where if I could do it all over again, I'd get it better this time. My lack of attendance in college really did effect me. The classes where I got by without it causing too much harm, I was able to make up for it by diligently doing all the reading. I fucked up a lot, though. Like by blowing off the Muppet Class and Phonology I, to name but two. By fucking up sooooo many Finals (Semantics I, Semantics II, Natural History of Dinosaurs, Morphology, etc.)
that's one thing I always find: I know if I could live it over again, I'd most likely make the same poor decisions, but I always tell myself "nah, you'd do it differently."
The bottom line: "If I knew then, what I know now, I wouldn't have had my little accident." #moviequotes (Beetlejuice, in case you were wondering).
Yeah, I went there.
Oh well. Life goes on.
I also found a neat website the other day:
http://www.digitaldialects.com/ I've been using it and having fun. I suggest you use it, too.
