Word association
So, I did a word association test today and basically a whole bunch of words are shown to you and the amount of time it takes you to answer is recorded, the longer the delay the bigger issue you may have with that word. Apparently, I have issues with the words: Love, sports, cold, men and shelter.
Well, weird as it is it is accurate. I do have issues with all of those things except maybe shelter.
I have problems with love: self love, loving others, not letting other love me, not letting love conquer all. I don't believe people when they tell me they love me, I believe that they have to say it. I don't believe my love is good enough for others, and I don't know why any one would accept it.
I have issues with sports: I fucking hate sport. I think it is the worst thing for our country to be associated with and it should not be forced down our children's throats. If you don't play footy? You are a pussy. It should not be that way, We should want our children to be cultured and smart and intelligent and articulate. Argh sport.
I have issues with men: I have severe daddy issues. I was my dad's favourite, and he would gladly admit it, then he left and couldn't care less about what I did. I have an issue with male attention, and when I was younger I was promiscuous. Very. I feel uninteresting and boring around men and I feel as though my personality is not what matters. High school, and three abusive relationships taught me not to care about my own feelings in a relationship or to feel that I was special. So, yes. I have a problem with men. Not a feminist, "I hate men" problem but an "I feel inadequate around men" problem.
Almost Friday. Almost time for me to go back to Cairns and the sweltering heat and have Christmas with my family. It is only for ten days but God, I will miss my new home. I will miss those of you who have become my friends and confidantes. I will miss my routine. I will miss working out in a gym. I will miss cool weather. I will enjoy awesome food, plenty of drinking and on my return I will be at Red Moon for NYE!!
