I went to one of my favourite places on earth today...Stationary heaven: Handiworks. It's just down the road in Chapel street and is stocking the most gorgeous stationary at the moment. I ended up spending more than I intended but I couldn't go past this:
Hand made in Melbourne with hand stamped nameplate, fabric bound cover and 100% recycled paper. This journal is amazing! For some reason I could not resist the mustard coloured cover. I also acquired a gorgeous, fabric bound planner for 2011. It's designed by a company called 7321Design in Korea. It features illustrations and pages from The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. It came with stamps and miniature illustrations from the book as well as a wax seal, and a tiny envelope. It is absolutely precious. I wish I could find a picture of it. Karl decided to give it to me as an early Christmas present. Stationary rocks!
