i a m t i r e d.
not like that's stopping me from being sleepless or anything. it's political crunch time. the air pollution legislation is about to be voted on in the house ANY MOMENT NOW indefinately until it is voted on. this is what we tell people when we tell them to call their reps and senators. this is the year. this is the year. we will win, oh yes.
it's also about that time to be collecting signatures for candidates in the upcoming election, and guess who's doing contract work for the green party.
when did life become a nonstop party fun ride of environmental politics, race relations at everybody's favorite elitist women's college in northampton (no offense, smithies...) and a dear friend declaring that she simply will never be politically minded. with all the shit that girl has seen... i just don't know. you'd think i'd be used to apathy as a political organizer. oh well.
cryptic allusions to people and events aside, something to ponder: think of a creative way you can change people's lives today. try to drop the walls and lose the denial, and see through everybody else's and respect them for what they are. or maybe try a little inner peace. understand that a single word or sentence means different things to every person who reads or hears it, and then find out what's really being said; figure out what's really going on.
