I'm at home listening to the potatoes boil. The potatoes will go into making an old dutch/german favorite of mine where into the mash potatoes I add a can of "sauerkraut" (sour gabage). The combination of the potatoes and the cabbage go really well together. You can serve it with most meat but, of course, especially good with pork or smoked pork sausage. I'm serving mine with our pork roll today.
