(no subject)
New year, new life, not so new anything... same old same old rather..
Things are blah and kids are full of blah right now. I love that they are smart and growing up, however it all goes back to that whole should have never taught them to speak thing. Now they can tell time, so they are whining about how LONG they've been waiting for things. They also talk back and yell when mad. I love my kids, I just miss when they were cute and semi quiet.
Things are blah here. New years eve was fun the kids and I spent the day shopping then we ordered pizza for supper. We played MM's version of Life and the kids loved it! So Lily cracked out the one she bought. By the way the new version of LIFE is DIFFERENT!!!! We played about 1/2 of that and realized it was almost midnight. So we had our toast and the kids went to bed. MM and I had a nice evening to ourselves. Yesterday was boring. The kids and I stayed home and did some cleaning. Then they played upstairs and I watched about 8 hours of the Monk marathon. When MM got home from his party thingy he feel asleep on the couch. BLAH
So today the kids are hanging out then running to their dad's parents for an x-mas party. They'll be gone till tomorrow afternoon. I kinda want to get dudded up and go out drinking and dancing tonight. The catch is MM doesn't like to do that so I have to go alone, or not go at all. Sigh...
Sunday we are having a party day. We're meeting my dad for lunch for a x-mas party. Then for supper we are all going to my mom's house for a big birthday party for Nome and me. We voted that we'd share a family party this year since Nome is having a fancy Tea party at a tea house for her freind birthday. I still may see if I can talk MM into going out on y birthday for dinner. It would be nice to have something special that day. Oh well.
