(no subject)
So my family is scattered tonight.
We lost power yesterday at about 10am. Didn't seem so bad at first we figured it'd be back by today. Then about 6pm last night the line to our house broke. So we bundled up and lit a fire and braved the night. Today they tell us that it could be WEDNESDAY or LATER till they can get all the lines in or neighborhood fixed. The kids were spending the weekend with their step mom so they are there till tomorrow then heading to my mom;s where I am. Mark is staying at the house and going back and forth to his parents for heat. He didn't want to share a bed at either parents house and he also wanted to stay at our house at nights cause he is worried about people breaking in to all those houses that are empty on our block. So I am warm for the first time in 2 days, but missing my family.
Sigh... I want to go home and have power and be warm. Seems odd, to be homesick when I am at my mom's house which is been my home for YEARS.
