Well, now I’ve done it.

I’ve read the sixth book.  And re-read it.  And re-re-read it.  And re- well.  You get the idea.
Unfortunately, it’s truly beginning to sink in that I allowed myself to read Blackout too often, too fast and now I have to wait an entire YEAR for the next book.
While my brain is battling against sinking into this listless, pseudo-depressed what-the- ( Read more... )

*eyes her e-reader* Ooookay, so I think I'm going to slow down and pause here on page 64 of Blackout- and switch to something else for a bit. I don't even have a copy of Resident Evil. I guess I could WoW instead. I know there are zombies there....

Dang, woman, you're already on Blackout? Muy mucho impressed! XD
Even more so if you're able to stop mid-plot and sidetrack to something else. How is that possible? That's like... stopping a piss once you've started! O.o Damn. You are freakishly inhuman. XP

Glad you commented. I was worried about you. ::Hugs::

I'm finished. I'm a little sad. I liked that Cal.

*grin* No, just a book nerd. I usually read more than one book at a time. I blame my upbringing- when I got sent to my room there was nothing to do there but read.

*hugs you* I needed a weekend curled up in bed with pets and books. It helped.

Mmm. I liked him too, but I like the bloodthirsty one better. ::cackle::
In fact, Cal liked that Cal better too. Which is why it's so touching that he gives it up for his brother. Sniff!

::snerk:: Got sent to your room a lot then?
God, more than one book at once? I'd end up with ADD.

And anyway! I'm jealous. Your e-reader actually gives you page numbers? What the heck, no fair.
I have a Kindle and at any given time in a 360 page book I could be on page number 4510-203. WTF, Kindle?!

O.O That's just weird... Can you reset it or something? (I have a nook, so I don't know how the kindle works...)

Nah, it's just a Kindle thing. Part of what makes the Kindle experience so amazing, truly.
They posted an upgrade that supposedly dealt with that issue, but all it did was get rid of ALL page numbers so that you get the utter joy of shooting blind in the dark.

Okay okay. I snark because I love. I really do like my Kindle. Granted, I will never give up paperback exclusively for e-books, but it is nice to go on a trip and not have to pack a separate bag for my entertainment stuffs because I read abysmally fast. XD
