I believe YOU were the one who wandered off and went walk-about or some damn thing. Leaving the rest of us here to carry on alone. *sniff sniff* It was lonely, man. Real lonely. Nobody understands me like you do and... and... you just left. Without a word. All those empty, empty promises. *whimper* So... the hell? You've been where?! And no damn trip reports or anything??? O_o Details! I demand them!
Lol Ok, let's see... it's not so much what I was doing as what I got to do while I was careening about. Lessee. In Chicago I got to see Frank Lloyd Wright's house... hell, neighborhood. In San Fran I saw family and visited, well, basically the whole city and made a nuisance of myself. God damn but that city is COLD. In LA I met up with some friends and we talked business which degenerated to the most awesome outing EVER. Namely, a club called The Edison. It defies description. It was like being in a steampunk novel. Way cool. I also got introduced to the beer Chimay and OH. MY. GOD. I've been spoiled for any other beer in the world. Lots of hockey in Columbus. (Red Wings vs Blue Jackets, woot!) New York... if I never have to go back to that city it will be TOO SOON.
Soooo... does that satisfy? What's up on the Hawk front?
Dear God... you just skip around all over the darn place for fun? What business? What are you DOING?? The hawk has no front... the hawk is just hanging out in the hamster wheel of life. Round and round and round...
Mostly for work (though lots of fun is involved.) Currently I'm freelancing the crap out of life. Mostly just to keep up my gypsy-artist lifestyle due to the fact that I'm inflicted with artistic ADD and cannot maintain interest in a project for more than a year. God forbid I earn tenure and make real money. ^_^;; I also moonlight for Sprite Animation Studios and, very occasionally, Blur Studio.
It suits me, though. I may not be rich, but I sure am happy. I get to be as weird as I want, and people love me for it. XD
Sure. ::shrug:: Though it's kinda hard to answer. Basically I do whatever lands in my lap. I've done character design/sketches for shorts, set design for movies, animatics, various illustrations, and once, a mural for the interior of all the dressing rooms of a shoe store in Chicago. That was lots of fun. Paid graffiti! I also do maskmaking as a hobby that generally makes a profit and my friend wants me to come be on the staff for the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade this year. I have a conflicting schedule but I really want to!
::snort:: Mostly. Aaaahhh not the David Bowie bulge! I have traumatic bulge memories! Repress! Repress! Here, lookie: http://www.labyrinthmasquerade.com/
