Crows ZERO ep1
I just finished watching Crows ZERO!! AWESOME!!! Loved it!! If you watch a lot of Japanese live action dramas, you'll love this movie. I watch a lot of j-doromas and I follow a lot of actors, which is how I got about finding Crows ZERO. I would call this movie having an all-star cast only because I know just about every main character, I can point them out and say which drama or movie they've been in. ^_^
The main character, Genji, is played by Oguri Shun who is an actor I follow and which is how I found the movie. Also in the movie is Takayuki Yamada who is the main characters rivial, Serizawa Tamao.
And even though he has a small role and no speaking parts, I was excited to see him in the movie, Kohei Takeda from KR Kiva. He did nothing but stand in the backround and be one of Bando's Men. But he fought and that's all I was really hoping for.
Also in the movie was the twins from the j-pop group FLAME Yusuke and Hisato. They played the Mikami brothers in the movie, they were very funny.
The film centers around the character Genji Takaya, a newcomer to Suzuran High School who aims to 'conquer' Suzuran. Genji makes a deal with his father, Hideo Takitani. If he can conquer the school, he will be allowed to succeed his father as the head of his yakuza syndicate.
But to get to the top there are many people he has to get thru. He has to make alliences and everything. The schools tops.
The Armored Front is headed by Bando who transfered as a 2nd year.
The Ebizuka Jr High Trio: Kirishima, Honjo, and Sugihara (1st years)
Rinda-man
Tokaiji, Shoji, and Tokio are leaders in their own right but follow Serizawa in trying to conquer Suzuran. Also the Mikami brothers have joined their rankings.
Makise, leader of Class C joins ranks with Genji, as does Izaki, another leader. Also in Genji's group is Chuta who is in the same class as Genji. Genji took over leardership of the class by beating Chuta.
Anyways, I think the movie would be good for both girls and boys. Girls because of all the bishies in the movie and for the boys all the freaking fighting done in the movie. I know what I want to show in the next anime marathon!! XDDD
I can't wait for the sequel to the movie!!! It comes out in japan in April.
