I live in a weird country.

Now that I'm back home, my mom's pestering me to do a lot of things. Marriage, for one. Lose some weight, another thing.

Vote.

Yeesh. Of the three things she asked me to do, voting is the one I least favor. I understand that it's my right and duty and a citizen yada yada, but looking at the system right now, I really don't feel like voting. How does it feel, living in a country with a minister who just admitted to making porn videos of himself? I'm sure he was doing it as a keepsake (to prove that even the old man can still wave his flagpole around) but how can he be so stupid to let it slip out? Circulated on the black market at RM10 a disc, all one hour of old man porn? For that matter, who bought it?

It's nice that he admitted his fault, but I'm enraged that he didn't resign yet. Shame on you. Take the example of Western politicians and hide in a seven-foot hole, won't ya?

Ranting about the political system won't get my anywhere, but I'm disgruntled by the lack of dignity of our politicians. Acting like children during Dewan Rakyat sessions, making stupid statements on national TV and now?

I want to run away. Far far away. Living as an oppressed minority seems to be a more favorable option, sometimes.

That bit of news just soured my breakfast. And it was karipap too!
