I have been deemed an "honorary fake Jew" by sainfoin_fields and lodessa for various reasons, which means that there will be candles on the latter's ugly menorah that she makes me keep at my house, and it's Yule tonight and the solstice means it will stop being darker and darker, no matter how much colder it gets, and I think the holiday tonight means more to me than the one I will celebrate in a completely secular and agnostic fashion on Thursday.
