We have well moved in...
Have even had friends over now =) hooray!
i can't be bothered to write a journal atm. I'm supposed to be saying how the new place is going, and how living together is going, and all sorts of stuff... I've been told, you see, I think you know who!
Stuff is going fairly well. It was hard to get used to the noise the first few nights (we are just off a busy main road), and the bed I'm still not sure about, it's too hard for me, i really think (I'm only light). Oh well, sleeping has got a bit better...
We've been telling each other stuff. I feel me more than him, and he keeps thinking I'm criticising him, but I really don't mean it to sound that way. He was sayign stuff to me the other day and I was like "ok, cool", but he keeps getting all sulky if I tell him to do something, or not to do something. I think he's just gotten that way from his dad always telling him stuff... Oh, what can you do?
I did a super clean yesterday (except for all the crap in the spare room, which we don't want to get rid of, as what if we have to move after this lease is up?), cuz friends were coming over.
Chris arrived first, and we got onto making a Righteous Babe store order, as I could get 20% off everything for pre-ordering the new DVD, yay! Chris is just as bad as me... When I asked if he wanted anything, he emailed me a list of a few cds, and about 5 or 6 tees, and he also wanted the boy briefs (but I think they are 'boy' undies for girls, so i doubt they would have been comfortable for him! he kept saying "I resent having to buy XL undies", lol), and there wer a couple of other things too, which he then added it all up and went, holy crap, i don't know if I can afford that in US$! lol. I only got 2 things, even Kate got 3 things! I am so good atm... um, well it's relative I guess.
Kate and Libby came =) Gave them a tour of the house, yay! They like it.
We had a potato veg sort of curry which was actually really good, with rice, and hommous, raita and bananas and coconut.. yuuum... And then Mitch made chocolate fondue, which we had with strawberries and marshmallows, and Mozart chocolate liqueur that Chris brought us... Chris stole all our strawberries because marshmallows have gelatine in them so he couldn't eat them =( so then we were all dying of sweetness and liqueur...
We played a couple of games of Spicks and Specks... and the Kate and Libby went home. Chris slept on the couch... We watched a movie and were up late.... It was nice, haven't done it for a long time =)
