Christmas Eve!
So its the eve of x-mas and i suddenly find myself very much in the holiday spirit. i have finished my shopping for the holidays, i just got done with all the wrapping and now it is just time to wait. actually, christmas eve in my house is always a good time because my mom, stepdad, brother and i have a very distinct ritual that goes as follows...
finish wrapping
order bad take-out
watch national lampoon's christmas vacation (those griswolds always kill us, no matter how many times we have seen them)
go to bed (this is very difficult, the thought of x-mas makes sleep next to impossible)
anyway, quality family time is always cause for excitement. i do miss all of my friends. i hope you guys are having a grand break as well.
i'm so excited to see all of the family tomorrow too. oh what a glorious time of year. being in grand haven is endlessly weird though. i can never seem to get used to it. i don't especially like bumping into people unexpectedly, and there is no way to avoid that in this kind of town. i can never seem to leave my past behind me. ahh well, what can you do?
anyway, hope everyone has a great holiday!!
oh, i forgot to talk about how much fun i had at my b-day party! i can't believe i am 20!! ahhh!! wow, anyway, to all of you who came i thank you, you guys made my birthday so much fun, and i think i remember most everything, that is until we called a cab to go to fleetwood at 3am. good times!!
p.s. i am going 'friends only' soon so ask me to add you if i haven't already.
