From Latina magazine, December 2003 issue:
Capricorn, December 22-January 19
2004 will be your year to receive top honors and recognition. Finally what you've been waiting for arrives. Vanquish your workaholism and find time for you and your loved one. Give yourselves the gift of a second honeymoon. Wear a lot of black with red or green details. On New Year's Eve, eat 12 grapes at midnight to ensure 12 months of abundance and love.
This coming week is going to be loco. Tonight, I'll be a special guest with the Matthew Stubbs Band on
92. 9 FM WBOS's Blues on Sunday with Holly Harris. We'll be on the air sometime after 10:00 pm, but I don't know exactly when.
Wednesday night, November 19,
The Yard Rock will be hosting the band's Going To Memphis benefit. For those of you just tuning in, we won Boston's
Blues Challenge in July, and part of the booty is getting to represent Boston in the
International Blues Challenge in Memphis. However, going to Memphis for a week is expensive, so the
Boston Blues Society sponsors a benefit (or two) for each of their winners, hoping that people will come have a good time and donate a little bit towards the trip. Wednesday night should be fun, and we've heard from a lot of musicians in the blues community that they'll be attending to play and party with us. Hopefully we''ll get to see some other friends and fans as well.
Friday night we have a show in Haverhill, Massachusetts at a club called McDigger's that I don't know anything about (including the address *laugh*). Saturday night our show got cancelled, which might be a blessing in disguise. Hey, maybe this week won't be as crazy as all that!
