Easter Show!!
OMG Yesterday was amazing! We started off by driving out to Parramatta to have Yum Cha breakfast and caught the train from there. Lorenzo was so cute all day! At the restaurant he was drinking out of the tea cup and he kept trying to have tea so we gave him a little and he shivered and poured the rest of his tea into his mum's bowl! LOL
Then, to keep him occupied while we ate, they pulled out the portable dvd player and let him watch the Wiggles and he was dancing at the table and turning the screen to show us what he was watching and he got bored and wanted to go up and down the stairs until we left. On the way to the station he kept pressing the crossing buttons and when we had to go to the next one, I'd run ahead and start pressing the next button and his eyes would light up and he'd start running towards it to press it too LOL On the train he got my camera and was saying "Smile!" and pressing the button to take pics of himself LOL Such a Tablante!!!
The show wasn't super good this year... But I guess our main reason for going was Lorenzo. It was soooo funny because we took him to the petting nursery and tried to get him to pat a little goat but he freaked out and kept pulling away from the animals until finally Khate had to pick him up and he refused to touch the ground again until we got outside hahaha
Later we split up so that Lorenzo could play in the baby area and the older kids went to the games and rides. Sam, Khate and I bought 70 tickets and went on the Crazy Coaster, they went into the Haunted Mansion and then Cameron joined us on the music one... Kuya Alf, Tito Jek, Cam and I also played some games. Cam won me a bear at the shooting game, Tito Jek won a green monkey and I won a big prize at the Bazooka Blast game!
We met up with the parents after that and found Lorenzo asleep... Apparently he'd been rummaging around through Mum's bag, found $2 in her coin purse and wandered around with the coins in his hand (with Ate Irene following) until he found an ice cream stand and held up the coins going "Ice cream! Ice cream!!" so he managed to buy his own ice cream and he came back to the parents with a huge smile and an ice cream in his hand. SO CUTE!!!!
From there we headed into the Woolies food hall where I managed to find Shelfa and we hung out during her break, wandering around and chatting before we headed out to the showbags! And in our entire party of peple we only bought 3 showbags. Wiggles and Sesame Street for Lorenzo and Licorice Darrell Lea for Cameron. But we managed to make a whole day of the show coz we got there around 11 or so and left at 6:30! Lorenzo was asleep for a few hours but he walked heaps most of the day. On the way out we finally found where to find the bubble guns we'd been seeing around - Lorenzo was chasing the bubbles so we HAD to get him one. SO CUTE!! LOL
And we had dinner at Kuya Ricks after so it was a good day! But now I'm totally buggered and at work *sighs* I'd better get to it...
OH! A girl walked in and she's ENGAGED with a HUGE ROCK on her finger!!! LOL Congrats to her! ^_^
