Boop boop bee dooop (a la Betty Boop)

So I'm pretty happy tonight. Futurama just finished, but Thank God You're Here is about to start, and I lurve that show. One of my Australian favourite comedians EVER is Shaun Micallef, and he is hilarious on this show. He won last week. W00t.

Also, I am going back to Sydney tomorrow. Its only for a couple of days dear friends, don't fear! So its on the train tomorrow morning.

I downloaded some photos off my phone today and onto my computer today, so YAY FOR YOU - PHOTO FUN TIME!!

Everyone knows I'm a soprano, and I love opera. In July, Opera Australia had an Open Day, so Cam and I just HAD to go. It was FABULOUS!!! We saw everything from props and sets from Mozart's "Die Zauberflote" (The Magic Flute) we saw at the Opera House earlier this year, to attending a workshop run by friend and director of the new "Pirates of Penzance" Stuart Maunder - if you remember back to July 2005, we did a singing workshop (where Cameron and I met!) and Stuart was the director, and we did a song from Pirates of Penzance fully choreographed and everything, and Stuart got Cam and I and some other people up to do that scene with PROFESSIONAL OPERA SINGERS IN LEAD ROLES IN THE PRODUCTION! He chose Cam and I because we knew the choreography and the words, so we were singing together! IT WAS AWESOME!! The other bestestest part was the costume displays from operas. They were incredible. And then... there was some dress-ups! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!

Cameron dressed in the only outfit that fit him (its tough to be 6"6...)

Woohoo, Little Miss Spunky Corset - fully boned and everything *swoon*

This costume was gorgeous. They told me that its what the dress 10 year girls in - ha! I fitA skirt and corseted bodice top... double corset fully boned *double swoon*

"The Girl Who Was Actually A Dumpling". Ohhh, those sexy blue eyes... :P
Today I got bored, so I put on old clothes and did my make ups and then took photos. Woohoo. Yes, I've been just that kind of bored people!!

The smouldering look. Oh baby.

Yes, its true. I am a spunk rat. Let's move on.

Sexy body. Whatevers.
Hospital photos from Port. Taken on Saturday night after my "procedure". Mmmm, injecting blood into my spine...

My back, covered in iodine. At this stage I couldn't really move much. The hole is on this side of the tie lying across my back.

This is one of the four attempts to take blood in surgery. It didn't work.

They finally got a cannula in. And then didn't even use it. I couldn't straighten or clench my hand - there wasn't enough room with the needle in there.

I had my procedure that afternoon and was sedated, given local anaesthetics in my arms and spine, had a screaming crying fight with my boyfriend - all before 10pm. I was a very scared, absolutely exhausted, very upset girl.

This is the hand they didn't get the needle in, about a week later. The needle hand was fine. This one had needed a local anaesthetic to get a needle into, and they couldn't get blood. Yummy.

Another attempt for a needle in the middle of my right arm. No blood, of course. I think this one had a local as well. This was a week after. The bruise began blue, then began to go green, as seen here. Its still there today, slightly bigger, and went green, brown, and is now back to green again.
Hope you had fun!
xx
