Bullets On The DL...

I got another "watch what you do on the Internet" warning last week, but I find that a day without some outlet or distraction makes my Mood Coaster take a severe dip. So here we are, using the power and mystery of wireless phones to bring you your favorite non-lethal (so far) bullets...

*I watched the finale and reunion of Rock of Love II yesterday. Using Bret Michaels's music as the score just adds the final touch to this train wreck of a show. I really hope this relationship works out so we don't have to go through this again.

*How do I get a reality show where 20 some women will do anything to be with me? It seems like it would be a fun way to date.

*Tomorrow is Earth Day, which I guess means that it's the planet's birthday or something. What do you get that celestial being that has everything?

*My title has changed at work. I now have the glorified "Senior" designation, which seems as silly to me as all the Daily Show correspondents who are Senior something or other. I'm not big on titles or labels. If you can label me, then I'm not trying hard enough to be original.

*Speaking of the Daily Show, Uma Thurman was on last week. She had a very Anne Bancroft a la Mrs. Robinson aura to her. It struck me that she had Older Woman Sophistication now, which was a double epiphany because I realize she's roughly the same age as I am therby making me an Older Man (as if I need more evidence for that). If only I had the Sophistication to go with it.

*Obligatory Cryptic Omphaloskeptic Comment®: You should get a memo or something when that happens.

*Maybe it's me, but I wouldn't entitle an e-mail announcing a sale as a "Hard Drive Blowout". Read that too fast and you're bound to get a different impression...

*I've been listening to the new Raconteurs CD the last couple of weeks. It's f'in great. I like it better than their first CD. Does Jack White ever take any time off from making records?

*I often find myself lost in thought, unable to pull myself out of my mental quicksand to focus. I'm having a lot of trouble with that today.

*The day seems so much longer when you come into work early.

*If I have any glaring grammatical or spelling errors, cut me some slack...I'm doing this on a phone. Be happy I'm not doing these in textspeak.

mobile, mind bullets
