The best advice I have ever gotten in my entire life is this.
Breathe.
What do you do when you're running and hardly have the will left to want to see in front of you? Freakin' breathe.
Bored? Just breathe!
Stressed out? Take some air in and breathe.
The only exception is if you're surrounded by foul smelling things or deadly gaseous things. Even so, if you breathe foul smelling odors, in about a minute or so your sensory system gets used to it and you start to "not smell it" anymore. Still, please don't breathe if there's deadly gas around.
But, in every other case, take a breath. It's helpful!
