Like Lambs To The Slaughter
I've been delaying on talking about my new Userpics for several reasons. First and foremost is the fact that I've been a little sheepish about the fact that I only pseudo-upgraded to get them. I mean, Free Account + I-see-ads-but-you-don't = 9 more Userpics, 3 audio-LJs/month and a photo album for free? Damn, Kit. You're just being cheap now.
Also, I had left 2 Userpic slots empty just in case I found something else to add in. So I thought I'd wait.
But now, I've added a Userpic that needs explanation for people to see its place in the Userpic pantheon. So what I'll do is talk about the new one here, and then I'll reply to my own journal 13 times and talk about the Userpics in there. Boom.
(Yeah, that's right; I'm re-talking about even the old 6. You know you wanna hear it anyway, so Shhh.)Okay, first off, Sketch sent me a link to an article about a zombie-killing Flash game called "The Last Stand."
My new Userpic (above) is a cropped screenshot from the game. I feel the image sums up all my feelings on how best to handle an undead apocalypse:

Now, I know what you're thinking:
What about ammo, Kit? Haven't you always said you'd rather have a machete?
Well, you're right... except 'The Last Stand' wisely gets around that issue by allowing you that awesome hooded sweatshirt with pockets full of unlimited clips for all your weapons. Oh, it it sweetness incarnate, and man, it feels good to finally enjoy a game that relies solely on firing a ranged weapon.
Okay, with that said, I'll end the main body of the journal and write the rest in comments.
