christmas is coming up....need to finish up some shopping/ making of presents
this week should be rather ok even though i have lots of tests and a history paper due
im making my resolution early for next year and im gonna try to stick to it =)

im gonna try to act without way otherthinking things (a combined idea from Hamlet and Macbeth, see quote but not that extreme)
im actually excited about christmas
and im going to the greenfeild village holiday night thing this friday with patrick which should be fun =)
fact: In the Netherlands they exchange gifts on December 6th, St. Nicholas' Day, they celebrate using St. Nicholas as the Bishop of Turkey, not Santa, he travels with 6-8 black men, not elves, in the past if a child was bad "Santa" and his 6-8 black men would come with a switch and beat the child and kick them. If the kid was really bad then he would be taken back to Spain with "Santa" Now however he doesnt actually kick children, he only pretends to. They put their shoes by their fireplaces (at least when they had them before heat they did, now they just put them out) and if the kid wasnt to be beaten Santa and his gang would give them presents.
