Wow
Well here I am, alone nonetheless, in the media center listening to Mrs. Amerson rant about her only job, printing. You know if we put a sign up that said “Talk to an administrator before you print” then her job would be completely obsolete. I thought my Italian would come visit me today, but I don’t see him yet.
Glasses
I am starting to lose all hope. If I don’t find my glasses by tomorrow afternoon then I have to tell my mom and just hope for the best. I am so tired of myself. I am tired of having to get rid of old things and buying new things because of my lack of responsible abilities. And every time I say that I’m trying to be more responsible everyone is always like “Yeah right”. Do I ever do that to anyone? NO! So please, if I’m trying then try to help me. If I don’t remember something then try to remind me. I’m not asking for any of you to be my mom but at least have a little faith. All I can do is hope that they show up and search everywhere.
Things I have done in search effort:
- Asked all my teachers, twice.
- Narrowed the time that I lost them down to 1st-3rd period.
- Asked the Media Center ladies
- Looked in the lost and found.
- Asked Mr. Sailors and Mr. West to ask their students in the period following mine.
- Personally looked around EVERY class that I go to during the entire day.
- Asked my friends whether they remember me wearing glasses when I saw them or not, which as bad as my memory is none of them know either.
- Asked John Lawrence, who I was talking to me when I was in the M.C. if he accidentally picked them up with which he responded “You wear glasses?”
and I said “Yeah” and he said “No you don’t”, so that was the end of that.
My last two steps are to talk to the head of the janitorial team because I might have left them in the bathroom and one of them might have found my glasses, and I know that everyone says they put stuff in the lost and found but I’m asking anyway. My second step in to talk to Lauren Riggs; she sat next to me on Friday…..or Thursday. I can’t remember which, but she sat really close to me and can tell me if she remembered or not. She has a great memory.
College-WARNING the colleges I’m writing about are not my top choices they are just the ones that I applied to first.
I have been applying to UGA for like three days now, it takes forever!!! I also still have to send my transcript to Kennesaw. And once I’m done applying to UGA I still have to get recs. From my teachers and I have to send out my transcript and I have to send them my SAT scores. My counselor said that if you can smell turkey than it is to late to apply, meaning that you should get all your applications through with by Thanksgiving otherwise you’ll be at the bottom of the barrel with all the other people who waited last minute. DO NOT wait until the last minute guys, it’s not a smart thing to do. Please do not assume that applying for college is a simple process because it’s not, get it out of the way as soon as you possibly can. I am panicking because between my glasses and college I have no stress reliever.
Clash of the Classes
I signed up for the M&M eating contest lol, but so did Ashley so at least I won’t be alone in my binging efforts. Rosslyn, you need to come in today and ask the office about signing up for an event. I would recommend you for hackey-sack but I don’t want you to sign up unless you are really good.
What did you all sign up for in the Clash of Classes events?
Ok well before I leave the Media Center I am going to search around the entire area that I sat at and look under the computer table, ect. Freaking Mrs. Amerson is trying to kick us all out so that she can make room for her oh so busy stalking schedule next period.
