Hello Old Friend...
So, it's been a while.
Okay...
So I worked at the Alligator Farm for the summercamp. I was the substitute Camp councelor. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to working there again next year. I got a lot of experience from working there that actually works toward my intended career and that makes me happy. Plus I got to hold animals, like a Ball Python named Super. Very cool snake. And I held a hedgehog, and an owl, and a corn snake. I did hold a Bearded Dragon, but that was my least favorite. I don't like lizards. They freak me out really bad and it was just insane.
I've been working at Applebees too on the weekends. That's really all I have to say about that. It's the same-old, same-old.
I haven't been on task in the planning of my wedding. I know that there is a bunch of stuff that I need to do and I just don't want to do it. I want to be lazy and enjoy my summer.
SYTYCD finished this week. CONGRATULATIONS TO JEANINE!! She is a beautiful dancer and she really deserved to win. I'm glad a girl won this season. And Stephanie and I have a date to go see the show in Tally on Oct 24!! I am so excited. It is my birthday gift to myself. Yay!
So, School starts back up in a month, Colleen and Sarah Wallace wil be back in a few weeks, my 21st birthday is in 2 and 1/2 months. OMG I'm a senior!! I graduate next spring! How weird is that?? Hopefully, if everything goes as planned, I will have my teaching certification by this time next year and I will have a job as a teacher!! Things are loking up... for the most part.
My parents are in the middle of a messy divorce. Not a good place for me or my brother. I feel so bad for Ben. He is headed into his messed-up-teenage years and my parents are absolutely destroying his spirit. It doesn't help that both my parents are dating other people. I've met Danny, this guy my mom is seeing right now. He's nice, funny... a pretty cool guy. It is kinda weird though. I haven't met my dad's GF, and I don't want to. He decided to leave so I have a right to refuse to meet her. At this moment, it is uncertain whether I'm going to let him walk me down the aisle.
