- Foiling medium
- Eyeliner serum
- Glitter adhesive
- Lip Plumper
Today we are going to cover FOILING with awesome sauce. First, let's discuss what exactly foiling means. If you are wanting a wet-look, metallic, or just more intense pigments, foiling is for you! Wait, wait, wait... you mean you can get MSC MORE INTENSE? Yes!
There are two (plus variation) ways to foil, and one may work better than the other for you.
Option One: Paint and eyeliner
What you need:
- Awesome Sauce
- Pigment
- Clean eyeshadow and or liner brush
- A clean palette, pot, or back of your hand
Step one: Apply a DROP (less is more with awesome sauce! I am living proof) of awesome sauce in to your palette/pot/hand
Step two: Sprinkle a little bit of pigment on top of the AS. Mix the two with your clean brush in to a paste.
Step three: Literally paint the pigment mixture on to your lids, whether it is on your lid or as a liner
Step four: AS takes a couple minutes to fully dry, so if you are painting the pigments on as shadow, you want to be somewhat quick, I find it is easier to blend when the mixture is still a bit tacky/damp
I really only use the mixture method for mixing pigments to use as a liner, but I know some ladies who like to use this method for shadow. Option two is how I use AS to foil my shadows, and I find it is a little less messy, you can still use the piggie as liner, but it is a dry pigment application
Option two: Base
What you need:
Awesome Sauce
Pigment
Clean brush
Pre-amble deal: If you are using a base color, apply this FIRST (as in, a NYX pencil, or any other base color brand you might use)
Step one: apply a small drop of Awesome Sauce to your clean finger tip. LESS IS MORE! The first time I used Awesome sauce, it went perfectly! The second time I was in a rush and didn't want to waste the leftover AS on my finger so applied it anyway.. and it creased because it didn't dry as well. Seriously a tiny drop, just enough to get your lid area covered.
Step two: Let the AS sit so that it no longer has a wet feeling, but just tacky. 20 seconds to a minute seems to work well for me.
Step three: Apply the pigment to your brush and tap it on to the lid. Your pigment might not look foiled instantly, but after it sits for a minute you will get that pretty, wet, metallic look that you obviously love if you are reading!
Step four: Flash yourself some hand-signs, 'cause you're a baller now.
