Man, Christmas sucked.
Had to give in to the 'rents this time. Since I skipped out on Thanksgiving with them, they practically blackmailed me into coming home for Christmas.
Same ol' deal. Dad just watched TV the whole time, my cousins tried to invade my private life, and my mom put extra pressure on me to be a successful student, whatever the fuck that is.
Course, I hate complaining about it because they always give me awesome gifts. They use them as leverage against me, I swear.
So I have my own starfighter now. One of dad's contacts from the Cornerian Air Force gave him a discount on a captured Venom ship that they were gonna scrap. I guess word got around that Sumabura has an Aerial Combat class and that I've been attending. Subtle hint to follow in my military dad's footsteps I guess.
Meh.
Anyway, the ship needs alot of work. It's a real piece of junk. Gotta install a new g-diffuser and upgrade the lasers, for starters. Needs some serious structural and cosmetic work too. But this is just the opportunity to customize a ship to my preferences. ♥ If any of you mechanic types wanna help out, I can...make it worth your while... ♥ would really appreciate it.
Anyway, I hope everyone liked their presents. Sorry I wasn't around to deliver them personally.
