A soliloquy for you

"As the winds of time sweep across the desert,
And the moon is full of brilliance,
Are you sure you would call me friend?

There is a reason why our paths have crossed,
If only I knew exactly why.
All I know is that words become lost,
When you don't explore the mind.
I have loved and died many times before,
And I have never called anyone my friend.

When I think of you in a world gone mad,
Where nothing means anything at all.
I long to look into what you seek,
Even if there are miles separating us now.
Do you feel my energy carried by the wind?
Then again it just might be me.

They say all we long for is only a wish,
And dreams are nirvana as you sleep.
Holy is for the believers of the order,
Covering the truth that we seek.
I have discovered you in words of a sentence,
That I thought were lost forever.
Those wise words I will always remember!

You may think it all too complex,
You may feel that this may be the end!
To me it's a paragraph,
A prelude intertwined that is from within.
Are you happy being you?
Could you be happy being my friend?
Would you be willing to drift in my mind?

Oh! Amen keep it close to you!
Discover another reality that I send.
An openness I am willing to share,
Because I consider you to be my friend....."
