Why I think these two characters are inherently similar.
And even if they aren't it's a Christian Bale fest and who can argue with that? That's right! No one!

Awh you beat me to it! I couldn't agree more with this post. I bet it's why Nolan cast Bale in the first place, because he was so good at portraying two sides of Patrick Bateman and therefore could do a solid job of playing both aspects of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

I couldn't help but notice both Patrick and Bruce go out with two girls at the same time, LOL. Greedy.

And you're not alone in your Bale worship. I might be one of the only people out there who liked Terminator Salvation, but I say it PROUDLY. An intense and sweaty Bale is never a bad thing.

Nolan was a smart cookie indeed ^_^ And Christian Bale does both parts so immensley well, Harron was so desperate to get him to play Patrick Bateman as well and there were so many arguments but she got him, she directed it and now, we're all happy :)

They're a men of many talents *_*
