So, these past weeks have been OKAY. As far as being MIA (capital M, capital A) on my LJ it has really just been due to a lack of inspiration to photograph. Now with my business and helping my mom out on eBay, I have to force myself to take photos (which involves more than just pressing the button for me) and it's becomming more of a rarity to get the umph to want to do it on the side.
I keep getting lots of cute stuff in the mail or out shopping but still can't push myself to get the photos done at the end of the day. There is so much I have been wanting to show you guys. Part of the reason is probably also due to my recent depression, which keeps making me loopy because of issues with my boyfriend.
but..
I don't want to ramble on too long about sad crap. I want to show pictures! Yes.. not many this time, which I should have took many.. but still, they're here.
I got this SUPER AWESOME package from my friend Jess which really really cheered me up! I ate alll of the yummy chocolates that night, well, almost. I gave my mom a bunch of them, because she is a candy-holic. I kept all of the recees for myself though.. yes.. muaha.. my little peanut buttery delights.. *rubs fingers together evilly*
Among the candy she also gave me some really adorable things, but my favorite was a teeeny ghost pencil topper XD I love him! He goes "Boo!" as I put him on a pencil. Well not really, but I make the voice. Does that count?
and, just when I thought I wouldn't be getting any packages today..
I had to embarassingly answer the door to the Post Office guy in my pajamas. Oh, but was it worth it.. oh yes..
"Rynn?! oh em gee YAY!"
Rynn, thank you SO SO SO MUCH!! She is such a sweetheart, so much goodies in this package that I bought from her, and some awesome gifts on the side! Let me just say, I squealed MAJORLY when I opened the Nightmare Before Christmas figure of Jack. I've never gotten a Jack trading figure before, so there was much "omg!"ing. It's just too adorable, from the scene where he's trying to figure out what christmas is made out of.
(New memo-san tin!! ^)
She also gave me a really really cute sheet of Gaikotsu Comic stickers (with a matching pin!), a memo pad, and Oba-kun pencil. I found the pencil REALLY interesting because as you can see, it's a wooden pencil. WRONG! It's a mechanical pencil!? You push down the eraser and the lead comes out XDD
Not long after opening the really great package, my rents decided to go thrift shopping for a while.. and I thought I'd tag along, I mean it's been sooo long since I went thrifting. I haven't had much luck lately so I thought why not.
On the way we stopped by our mail box (in a whole big mail box park hub XD; yeah it's so cool, all the locals go there and share dental care tips.... no not really..) and I was very happy to see that my copy of Clock Tower 3 for the PS2 arrived. It's from a trade with a girl on Livejournal. She just sent it yesterday too! skillz.
Well, thrifting today was so-so. No neat toys, no cute shoes, no "I want this but I shouldn't buy this because I would never do anything with it" random sculptures.. but I did find something that made me happy- The Amityville Horror on DVD for $3. Quite a steal, and the remake too. I also grabbed some CDs of The Calling & Eve6 for $1.50 each. You know, it's too bad I'm not 12 anymore. There were so many CDs of Hanson and the Backstreet Boys there, I would have ran around going "OMGOMGOMG!" if I was a kid, just for the fact of finding it there and thinking it's some miracle from heaven that god is trying to tell me how they were meant for me. Yeah.
On the way home I decided to trick my parents into bringing me to a store, where I snagged a few gifts for my friend's upcoming packages (they will be shipped, I swear!). BUT.. that was not the awesomeness of the day.. for it was.. going to a little spanish grocery on the way home...
and finding.. these babies..
My reaction was "Oh my F*ING god! a YOSHI LOLLIPOP! OH MY F*ING GOD! MARIO! LINK! DONKEY KONG!" and I grabbed three of them for my friends. Okay, I didn't grab sir Kong, because I hate him in some deep part of my soul. It was because of Mario Kart, that damn game! He was always in a race and bugged the crap out of me.
It's interesting, these are actually "official nintendo products" according to the seal on the back. LOVE. I kind of want to go back and get all of them just for me. What would I do? Eat them, no way! I would store them away forever in my geek fandom untill they are as hard as a rock! YEAH!
Last but not least..
I also got some supercute handmade clothes for my girls in the mail yesterday.
Holy wow are those made amazing or what?! Big chunky fugly shoelaces-are-way-too-big-to-make-sense pullip converse that everyone loves, KISS MY BUTT! HO YEAH! These are so freaking cute, you can even fold the TOPS down for an old school kick!
The other clothes I got are that adorable lolita-ey top (the back is -adorable-) for Lette-chan specifically, which I will take better pictures of later.
Anyway.. I hope you enjoyed all of the pictures and reads, COMMENT or die a very long painful pullip inducing death! *hugs* love all of you!! (especially the ones that have been sending me presents)
kidding!
