It's been a little bit, huh? Well, let's see what I can remember.
Solo/Ensemble went decently and Jage came this year again. I got a 1* on my violin solo, a 1 on my classical voice, a 1* on the duet with Sam, and a 2 on my musical theater *grumble*. Anywho, that night I went to see the Spring Play. It kicked. SO funny! You guys are awesome!
Sunday I had the Carmina Burana Concert. Went pretty well and JJ came to that too. What a good kid.
This past Friday was the Orchestra Send-Off Concert, which also went pretty damn well. Carnegie is going to kick ass this Friday. So yeah. 4n6 went okay on Saturday. Cec and I were finalists. We were both sick and I was losing my voice, so whatever. Our team finished 2nd...which was pretty good. That'll put us about about 2nd team in the state. Mad-town still kicks, but there's a chance we could beat them. Got home from the meet, then JJ came over and we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was SOOO good. Then we came home and chilled. Yesterday I had behind the wheel (one more left!!!) and then Jage came over again and we went shopping for a big purse, failed, and then rented Mean Girls. It was actually pretty good. Prissy girls are SO stupid and fun to make fun of. We had a SUPER good dinner and then we ate our cake that we got from Cheesecake Factory the night before and he went home. I am SO sick today. My voice was off all weekend, but today I want to die. My nose is stuffed up, I'm hacking up my right lung, and I still can't talk. But yeah.
I'm SO excited for Carnegie though. It's gonna be amazing. I know you're all jealous that I get to go to NYC with my friends and play violin in Carnegie Hall. Chance of a lifetime... :-) Too bad I have to wake up at 4:15 on Wednesday morning... Oh well. See you when I get home from the trip of a lifetime.
*heart*
