I feel the need to update
Well, here I am again. Life has just been so crazy recently. Let's see...
1) 4n6 last weekend. REALLY good meet. Cec and I kept screwing up in our rounds, but we were having a BLAST! Plus we powered, and then had the best run in the world with the best audience so far, and then we got second place! WOOOHOOO! Good day. East won again with 308 points. Four in a row!!! Anywho, Cec and I thought that would be our last meet doing that piece, but we're going to do Around the World at Sheboygan this weekend too. We can't get God together in time...at all. Not a big deal, we just have to have God down REALLY well for CFL Quals, but they shouldn't be super hard or anything. It's just our conference. Our only competition is Marquette, really.
2) I hate this stupid english speech. I am NOWHERE on it and I have to go on Tuesday. Plus I have all these frocking rehearsals for the Carmina Burana concert so that's real cool...
3) Orchestra is not cool. Right now i'm sitting 6th chair, which I am TOTALLY happy with, but all these people are all pissed off and I have to sit with Collin Malaney and he is being a little bitch and it pisses me off. I'm REALLY happy for Katie though. She's 2nd chair and that is AWESOME. So good! Nobody better get her place, damnit.
4) I e-mailed Stephen today. I think this is going to be a really good thing for me. I asked him about some stuff that I hope *fingers crossed* will finally give me some real closure and I can just MOVE ON! Well, I obviously have moved on, but not completely. It was kind of weird. I mean, it's extremely random of me, so we'll see what happens with that.
5) Finally made my Thank You for JJ's parents! Yay me! Too bad it's two months late... Better late than never...right?
6) Solo/Ensemble stuff is coming along pretty well. My violin solo needs some more hours, but my vocal solos are pretty much in place, so that's good. Going to work with Sam tomorrow on the duet...which needs TONS of work...but we'll get it.
Going to some concert thing at DSHA with Jage tomorrow, so that should be fun. That's about all for now. :-)
