1)I've heard you speak. you're good. But since i'm not the best speaker, there's probably not a whole lot that i can say to assuage your worries accept for the fact that you got FIRST (ok, so i wasn't really writing to make you stop worrying about 4n6, i figured you'd already done that yourself.)
2)i have something to tell you about chair auditions. Things don't go the way you think they will. and in your case, i'll bet they'll go better. you have plenty of time to prepare, i know you better than you think, you're worrying a lot about not a whole lot.
3)If you can't hear yourself, you must be blending, if you're blending, your probably in tune. nuff said
4) I've had songs like that too. But i've found that, some songs can grow on you if you play them more. Certain parts that seemed dumb, start to seem pretty cool. Maybe you could find a recording of your solo. recordings are great sorces of inspiration
5) Don't WORRY. I can't believe you're worried about how you look. I'm not gonna touch on this one, its probably not a good idea.
6) Everyone has a rough time at first. and I'm sure your rough start isn't helping. But believe me, you'll do fine. Some of the most INcapable people i know can drive, and you're one of the most Capable people i know.
7) Yeah, that is kind of pathetic :-P Especially since it was sooo freakin cool! (it was the shadow book, right?)
