Wow, today and yesterday. Craziness.
Yesterday. Went to Tim Gibson's guitar seminar in 4th hour. VERY cool. Although most people don't like his style, you can't not appreciate how TALENTED he is. Really. I learned a few things, so that was cool. 7th hour I got a personal invitation to try-out for Club East...ummm....no thanks? Then I babysat for the whole night, pretty much. That was exciting... I played with them and gave them all a billion piggy back rides, and I got molested by a FOUR YEAR OLD. No joke. I felt violated. I made them dinner (cereal....right...), we watched Mulan, then I loaded them up with sugar (2 oreos, a popsicle, and a tootsie roll pop each) and sent them to bed. It went pretty well. Annnnd I made $40, so woot!
Today. Awesome. I woke up to Earl calling me and telling me that he was switching us to tomorrow...at 8 AM. What a bitch. So I was like UBER tired all day. Anywho. I showered, practiced, and then JJ came!! We sat and talked about music for a little while, and then we went downtown to get tickets for the Marquette game tonight and hang out in Moda 3 for a bit. JJ found a really nice board bag for a GREAT price, so that was really good. Then we went to blockbuster, rented Garden State (even though it's R...apparently), and came to watch it. I think he liked it. I was SO excited. I love that movie. Then....we ate pizza for dinner and then went to the Marquette game. There was hardly anyone there and we were losing to SOUTH FLORIDA until the end of the second half. It was PITIFUL! However, by some miracle, we won! Craziness. Then we came home for a little bit, and then JJ left. It was such an EXCELLENT day. It was another one of those times when I realize just how much I love him... :-)
