Lately, I've been super happy because I've been hanging out with friends almost every Saturday and/or Sunday. However, there's some people I have yet to catch up with (i.e. Jayme, Danny & Cat and Manda). Regardless though, things have been outstanding. So yeah Sunday started off a bit shaky but picked up pretty good after Scott and I met up with Genevive and Beaux. It was fun and I'm glad that I'll have a shopping buddy in the DC area. :) Of course no one can ever replace Manda because our shopping days have been around for years, but I'm always down for new shopping lady friends anytime! Anyway, Gen and Beaux look like they would be modeling for Diesel or something fancy like that, haha. They are such a good time, so I can only look forward to future hangouts.
After that, Scott and I came home and watched Super Size Me. I have never been more grossed out in my life. That movie is fucking intense. I definitely recommend watching it. I will also say that I will never eat at McDonalds or some shitty place like that unless it was like a life or death situation. Ugh, I'm still getting the chills from seeing all the fatties, the gross food and the analogies for eating the food at McDonalds. For instance, eating there for a month is equivalent to consuming 32 lbs of sugar. That's how much their food is loaded with chemical and processed crap. Oh something funny, the guy also said that eating too much fast food affected his sex life, like all shit in his body made it harder for him to keep it up and have the stamina. It's funny how this country is so fueled on shitty food and Viagra/Cialis/Enzyte. Seriously, if it's not food commericials on the tv, there's something about impotency pills. I'm not one for conspiracies, but it makes too much sense that all the corporations are linked with each other and they are constantly trying to get people to buy their product. It makes sense that corporations want people to eat and feel like shit, and if their health is affected by it (i.e. sexual dysfunction), there's a "magic" pill to buy. American mainstream consumerism sucks, bottomline. See Super Size Me, word up.
