In addition to blind patriotism, add blind religious ferver to that equation. The people that live in Ohio are absolutely the most unintelligible people. There are no words that can explicate the disappointment, the anger and discontent I have for that state even though I do not live there anymore. They absolutely cannot fathom politics in the most basic sense. I laugh so fucking hard in the faces of those who said I was a sellout, an asshole, a ship jumper, blah blah blah fucking blah... for moving on, bettering myself and seeing Ohio for what it is really is. If you honestly think that state is not the 9th circle of Hell, please prove to me you are right. Otherwise, shut your fucking mouth and open your eyes. I am so glad that you want to continue to have high taxes, fiscal irresponsibility and religious zealots who think they are talking to the Almighty himself when they are creating legislature at the local level and agreeing with GWB when he says that "God talked to him." Cuyahoga County (Cleveland and it's outlying suburbs) is Democratic, but it cannot carry the state. Basically, everyone outside that county are adamant cultural conservatives. It's one thing to be a fiscal conservative, because I am one myself, but holy fucking shit... cultural conservatism has no place in politics and should have never been encorporated but GWB chose to bring it to the surface and now people blindly follow it. Issue 1... give me a fucking break. I am so glad they rather vote on homosexual marriage than fix the deficits, fix the schools, fix the taxation problem and fix EVERYTHING else. Nearly SEVENTY percent of Ohio residents are not happy with the economy at the local and state level and another percentage (I don't know the exact figures) suffer from unemployment, and yet they vote for the men who drives them further into that abyss. YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME. Okay go ahead, keep collecting your unemployment check you fucking piece of welfare shit.
