Back to my roots
I don't know when "country" or "Small town" became synonymous with stupid, red-neck, back woods, and trailer park. I wish that there was a way to make a life in a small town and raise a family there. I want to live somewhere where everyone knows my name, knows who my husband is, and will stop by for tea if they are on my street.
I miss being around people who care about each other, support each other, respect each other's property and relationships.
I feel like in the bustle of bigness and growth we lost humanity and a touch of self awareness. Its as if we think we can behave any way we want, because no one knows us.
