Shannons 18th Birthday
So my baby turned 18 on Feb. 1st and on the 4th we celebrated it. We both took off from work and I tried to set up this whole nice day for her. She got there around 11:15 (late as usual) and i made her lunch and had flowers and candles waiting for her. So we ate chicken wraps and watched out cold. After that we just hung around the apt until about 4 when we left to go eat dinner at the CheeseCake Factory. We had to wait like 20 mins, but the food was really good. After the main course we got some desert that Shannon seemed to like, it wasnt bad i just dont like coffee all that much. After dinner we rushed back to the apt and changed out of our nice clothes and put on the warmness. I blind folded shannon in the car and didnt tell her where i was taking her. I drove her up to lake allitoona and sat her down on this bench and took the blindfold off and we were looking right at the lake and i asked her if she knew where we were. She looked around and had this blank look on her face, i could tell she had no idea. "we are going camping baby" is all i said. Her mouth dropped open and she was like "My mom is letting me go camping?" Haha it was so cute. She seemed so excited. So we went back and picked up Chanel and then came back and set up camp. I set up the tent and started the fire while those two just kinda stood there. Then Shannon and I started drinking and I made hamburgers for Chanel and myself. Then we went and picked up kathleen...by this time i was completly drunk and was laughing at everything. We got back to the camp and made hotdogs and marshmellows....and just hung out. Then we all piled into the tent and slept in the fucking freezing cold wind and air. It was insane....woke up about 8 in the morning and left to go home and take a nice warm shower and then go to sleep with my baby until she had to leave......What a wonderful day. <3
