where there's smoke, there's FIYAHH
So another eventful day today! after getting about 5 hours of sleep, I went to school with a terrible backache, one where it hurts to do anything but just lay there. but I endured. Bio class from 9 to 12:20ish, then picked up film at Ritz, ate lunch, went to the digital lab to order a mural print, then went to the darkroom to work on my portrait assignment, due tomorrow. Then around 2 I went to the Student Health Center to get an MMR shot. Upon my return about an hour later, I see that a situation has arisen. Read about it here. Ten hours later, there are still 325 firefighters on the scene. Sooo I went back to the darkroom for a bit, and then I left to go to the buiding next door for my history midterm. I brought my backpack but left everything else in the darkroom because I'd only be gone an hour. but once I got next door, they were evacuating people from the building because the smoke was so bad. I figured out the midterm was cancelled, and went back to the 600 building to work in the darkroom. but now THAT building was closed, and alllll my stuff was still up there. so I hung around and watched the fire for a while, but I couldn't stand around forever, because my coat was also up in the darkroom. so I came home. my arm is sore. my back feels better. the tigers lost. an entire semester of work is sitting around in a building, including two projects that are due tomorrow, one that is only halfway done because of a fire and evacuations and whatnot. I'm going to bed.
